I was nervous going into a class where 95% of the students were guys. Muay Thai can be very up-close and personal. I was scared about getting hit too hard and getting hurt.

All it took was one class rto make me fall in love with Muay Thai! First, I was relieved that we were hitting pads with a partner, and practicing techniques. No sparring until later in your development. Second, everyone at Fight Prime is super nice and friendly. Everyone was so supportive and patient. They just want to get better and have fun.

Don’t avoid taking Muay Thai Madison classes just because you’re a lady! Trust me, it’s awesome! And you’ll get stronger, more confident, and probably drop some weight as well.

How are your Muay Thai Kickboxing classes different than Fitness Kickboxing?

Unlike fitness kickboxing, our top-level instructors will teach you good striking techniques, combinations, and principles of defending yourself. Additionally, the use of elbows, knees, and “The Clinch” is emphasized in Muay Thai vs. other styles.

Any physical activity can lead to injury – and Muay Thai is no exception – but because we place such care in keeping you safe…

We hardly EVER see any injuries in our Muay Thai Madison classes.

We guide you through the perfect way to do each technique. That way you don’t do it in a way that harms your body. And don’t worry about getting kicked or punched. You’ll be doing padwork only until you’ve reached the right level of your development.

And you go at your own pace. That way you don’t force your body to do anything it wasn’t capable of.

Muay Thai Madison students who learn quickly are just as valued as the ones who need to slow down, and learn at a different pace.

“Will this be really hard on my body? And is it violent?”

Muay Thai practitioners are never the ones to start fights. They’re the ones who do everything in their power to avoid fights.
